DAY 01 : JAYAPURA ARRIVAL WAMENA (L,D)

Arrive at Sentani airport of Jayapura, meet by guide, then catch Trigana flight to Wamena.
Upon arrival at Wamena airport , transfer to Baliem Pilamo hotel for a short briefing by guide about the tour and trekking.
After lunch, touring around Wamena town and market and villages surrounding.
Afternoon back to hotel for dinner and stay overnight.

DAY 02 : WAMENA KURIMA - KILISE ( B,L,D )

Breakfast at hotel, then by car to Kurima then trek to Kilise.
Today we hike up and down, the trail is steep and could be very sleeper if it is rains.
The first 2 hours hike to the village of Kilise is through the steep sweet potato garden near the Baliem river, but the scenery is spectacular. In Kilise village we explore the village nearby and visit their local houses.
Our accommodation is at a local traditional guesthouse.

DAY 03. KILISE – TANGMA (BLD)

Breakfast at guest house.
Trek up the hills then walking trough the dani gardens to get to Tangma village, another 1.5 hours trek through a small forest down to Tangma village.
Explore the village and it's community.
Provided lunch serve at the teacher house where we overnight stay.
The rest is the day is spend to explore and experience more about the local people daily life
activities.

DAY 04. TANGMA – WANEM (BLD)

From Tangma from bottom of small valley.
We hike about 2.5 hours up to the village of Wanem and enjy the beautiful panoramic of the baliem gorge.
Arrive in Wanem, lunch will be provided by our cook while we walk to the houses closed by to the compound.
Afternoon we walk around about an hour to another village and view more of the dani daily life activities.
Dinner and overnight at the local house.

DAY 05: WANEM KURIMA JIWIKA ( B,L,D )

From Wanem village in the southern of Baliem Gorge, we hike down 1.5 hours to Kurima.
The still traditional Dani village are very close and can be briefly explore during the hike to Kurima. The local people life and tradition remain unchanged here, and the sophisticate agriculture system has
been practiced along time ago.
Arrive in Kurima by noon, we drive 1.5 hours to Jiwika in the north of the valley via the town of Wamena.
Lunch at a local restaurant in the town.
Afternoon we may walk and visit the Dani villages near Jiwika, including the 250 years old mummy at sumpaima village and view the Dani Pig feast and dance in the village of Anemoigi.
Accomodation at Lauk Inn ( a very basic tourist accommodation ).

DAY 06: JIWIKA PIG FEAST WAMENA ( B,L,D )

After breakfast we hike 1 hour up to Iluerainma to see the Dani make salt by soak banan stalks into the brines pool, dry and carry them home.
Lunch today is in the village of Anemoigi where we can view the Dani Mock battle and Pig feast.
We will see how the Dani make fire traditionally, kill a pig with bow and arrow and cook them into the hot-burned stone with vegetable and sweet potatoes.
Late afternoon we drive 40 minutes back to wamena.
Dinner at local restaurant in town, accommodation at Baliem Pilamo hotel.

DAY 07. WAMENA – YANIRUMA (BLD)

Breakfast at hotel, on it's time transfer to Wamena airport to catch the charter flight to Yaniruma for 1 hour. (Yaniruma is the starting point to see the Koroway tribe).
Up on arrive walk out to the Mission house for our accommodation.
Today is the time to arrange everything before we start our adventure, porters and canoe. After lunch walk around the village and swim to the river.
Dinner and stay at Mission house.

DAY 08. YANIRUMA – KOROWAY (BLD)

Breakfast, prepare all the stuff and walking to the Sokom river on board the local paddle canoe to cross the Backing Dairam river.
Start our adventure by walking through the dense jungle, swampy, and we sometime walking up the single log. Our porter will free their hand to help you in the hard or difficult trail.
After 4-5 hours walking we arrive the first Koroway camp (where some Koroway tribes life). The Koroway tribes live in the jungle only with their family or relatives, as they never stay in one big compound. We can found 2 or 3 Tree house in one camp only. Caused they are nomad peoples and they never life for such a long time in the one places, they have to moved to one and another places to get more food and animals to be hunt.
We will stay with Koroway in their bevak or we build a tent or up the tree house if permitted.

DAY 09. KOROWAY (BLD)

After Breakfast.
Today we will join with Koroway tribe to their Sago field to gathering the Palm tree and process for their main food.
Lunch will be provide by boxes in the jungle.
Walking to the deeper to explore the tribes and vicinity.
Late afternoon return to our camp for dinner and stay overnight.

DAY 10. KOROWAY (BLD)

Breakfast at camp.
We move to find another Koroway camp by walking to the deeper jungle.
In this, we deal through our translator with Koroway tribe to show us how to built their tree house and to find the fish in the small river.
Lunch will serve by boxes. Dinner and stay at Bevak or tent.

DAY 11. KOROWAY (BLD)

Breakfast at Bevak or camp.
Today remind with korowai tribes how the hunter make a traps for Pig or Cassuary, etc.
Lunch will be provided, late afternoon return to your accommodations.

DAY 12. KOROWAY – YANIRUMA (BLD)

Breakfast, walking back to Yaniruma for about 5-6 hours, lunch will serve by boxes en route.
Before we arrive in Yaniruma we will stop at the river for a fresh swim and clean up our body from the muddy.
Afternoon arrive in Yaniruma, dinner and stay at Mission house.

DAY 13. YANIRUMA – WAMENA (BLD)

Breakfast guest house.
Walking to the airstrip at Yaniruma, then fly on charter mission flight to Wamena on it's time.
Up on arrive transfer to Baliem Pilamo hotel for check in.
After lunch at hotel, free program or you may walking around the town.
Dinner and stay at hotel.

DAY 14. WAMENA – JAYAPURA (BLD)

Today you will fly to Jayapura on Trigana flight, arrive in Sentani air port and touring the city.
We will visit Mc. Arthur Monument of WW II up hill of Ifar Gunung then drive down to Sentani lake where you take a boat to visit the village of Assey.
After lunch at Youqwa restaurant in the side of the lake, continue drive to the direction of Jayapura.
Overnight at Sentani Indah hotel with dinner.

DAY 15. JAYAPURA – DEPARTURE (B)

Breakfast transfer to the airport for fly to next destinations..

DAY 01 : JAYAPURA ARRIVAL WAMENA (L,D)

Arrive at Sentani airport of Jayapura, meet by guide, then catch Trigana flight to Wamena at 10.00am, 12.00.
Upon arrival at Wamena airport , transfer to Baliem Pilamo hotel for a short briefing by guide about the tour and trekking.
After lunch, touring around Wamena town and market and villages surrounding.
Afternoon back to hotel for dinner and stay overnight

Day 02 : WAMENA – DEKAI (B.L.D)

Transfer to the Airport for catching regular flight to Dekai.
Depend on weather, the plane may be delay cause bad weather. Make more preparation in Dekai for the next day by charter motorized canoe.
Rest of the day you may walk around Dekai villages to explore Dekai Tribe.
Lunch and dinner will be provided by our cook.

Day 03-Day.04 : DEKAI – SENGGO – YANIRUMA (B.L.D)

2 days use motorized canoe for sailing from Dekai to Yaniruma.
We may stop at some villages for taking a rest and overnight in Senggo.
On Day 4 you will arrive in Yaniruma as a home base of Koroway people.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided. Overnight at local houses or at tents.

DAY 05,06,07,08,09: KOROWAY ADVENTURE (B,L,D)

We will spend these 05 days trekking is some of the most pristine lowland rain forest in the world.
Along the way we will try and stay with the various tribes those inhabit the region.
The Korowai are more territorial than the neighboring Kombai.
Breakfast, prepare all the stuff and walking to the Sokom river on board the local paddle canoe to cross the Backing Dairam river.

We will trek back to Yaniruma .Stop over at Dairam Kabur before we arrive in Yaniruma river for fresh swim and clean up our dirty bodies from the mud.
Afternoon arrive in Yaniruma, dinner and overnight missionary house or local houses.

Day 11-Day 12 : YANIRUMA – SENGGO – DEKAI (B.L.D)

Return by Motorized canoe sailing back for 2 days from Yaniruma to Dekai.
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner are provided, overnight at local houses or at
tents.

DAY 13 : DEKAI – WAMENA (B,L,D)

By regular flight to Wamena.
Arrive in Wamena airport transfer by car directly to the Hotel.
Lunch, dinner and overnight at Hotel .

DAY 14: WAMENA – JIWIKA (PIG FEAST) - WAMENA (B.L.D)

Breakfast at hotel
Drive to the northern part of Baliem valley to a village that well known with its old smoked MUMMY.
You will enjoy local performance such as MOCK WAR and traditional earth oven cooking. You can
interact with the local Dani people and learn about their way of life.
Lunch will serve with local sweet potatoes and grill pork or others.
On the way back to hotel we will have stop at the traditional market of Wamena.
Dinner will be served at a local restaurant.

Day 15: WAMENA - JAYAPURA – DEPARTURE (B)

Breakfast at hotel, transfer to the airport for your flight by Trigana ETD 07:00 leaving for Jayapura.
Upon your arrival at Sentani airport of Jayapura, onward flight for the next destinations.

DAY 01: JAYAPURA-ARRIVAL (L.D)
- Arrival at airport of Jayapura check in to the hotel, lunch, dinner and overnight at hotel.
- The rest of the day is free program.
DAY 02: JAYAPURA - KURIMA - KILISE (B,L,D)
- After breakfast then transfer to airport for your 40 minutes flight to Wamena. Arrive at Wamena airport, then drive in 1 hour to Kurima with your guide, porters and cook, the starting point of the trekking, Kurima is the sub District of the tribe on level terrain.
- Then continue climbing the Hesegem hill on the direction of Kilise.
- Along the trails, you will meet local people in their activities and yet the scenery is very beautiful around.
- Lunch served en-route.
- Afternoon you may explore the traditional villages and learn about the people way of life.
- Dinner and stay at local guest house of Kilise. (Walk approx. 2.5 hours).
DAY 03: KILISE – IBIROMA - WAMEREK (B,L,D)
- After breakfast, proceed to Wamerek village by passing Ibiroma village.
- Today's walk is a little harder with narrow and slippery paths up down of the hills with about 1.800 meters of elevation.
- But you may also enjoy the nature's beauty, and along the trail you will meet local people with friendly smile in their traditional clothes.
- Lunch will be serve at the edge of Tangma river and you can clean your body while the cook preparing the
  food.
- After lunch we continue to Wamerek within 30 minutes, dinner and overnight stay at a teacher's house or school. Tents will be settled up
  (Walk Approx. 5 hours)
DAY 04: WAMEREK - WESAGALEP (BL,D)
- The next morning after breakfast continue trekking to Wesagalep village for about 6 hours.
- You are proceeding to cross suspension hanging bridge over Baliem river, to cross this bridge you have to pay more attention because the bridge is already old.
- Lunch will be served at a small waterfall and you may refresh yourself in the water. The way to Wesagalep village from the river is going up the hill and you again can see the gorgeous scenery from the other side.
- Dinner and overnight at school of Wesagalep. (Walk approx 6 hours)
DAY 05: WESAGALEP – PUKAM (B,L,D)
- Having breakfast, start with a steep half an hour through yam gardens to the upper most compound of Wesagalep which offers a great panorama of steep forest slopes and garden.
- Then unpleasant hour of mud brought us to the river for lunch.
- After lunch continue the trekking thru the rain forest and highland Pandanus the forest is unusual here made of huge trees their trunks draped in moss of several colors.
- While the path getting much drier means that Pukam village is already near.
- Dinner and overnight at school. We will set up the tents for sleeping. (Walk Approx. 5 Hours)
DAY 06: PUKAM – WUSEREM (B.L.D)
- Walk for about 4 hours thru tropical rain forest, there are many tropical flowers along the trail.
- Quite often you have to balance your way along the big logs which are wet and slippery. However, the porters are quite helpful supporting you and willing to carry you across (piggy back) on the bad paths.
- After come out from the rain forest you may enjoy the spectacular Baliem gorge and going down the river where cooks preparing our lunch, you may soak your aching bones in the river.
- Another 2 hours we will arrive in Wuserem village for dinner and overnight at school or in church.
DAY 07: WUSEREM - SYOKOSIMO (B.L.D)
- Having banana pancake for breakfast and then and follow the regular path down until Syokosimo, today is easy trekking but the landscape is very beautiful and really marvelous one.
- While we rest on the top of the hill the wind blows very hard and never boring live in this area.
- Lunch boxes have provided in Syokosimo.
- After lunch you can go to swim in Mugi river in not polluted water.
- Late afternoon you can play with children in the school yard close to our accommodation. (Walk approx. 4 hours)
DAY 08: SYOKOSIMO – HITUGI (B.L.D)
- Today there is no village we passed until we reach Hitugi village, but we will cross the traditional bridge crossing the Mugi river.
- Today we are going to see mixed Dani and Yali tribes. These two tribes have different in the way of life, lunch will serve en-route and dinner and stay at local accommodation (Walk approx 5 hours).
DAY 09: HITUGI – UGEM - KURIMA – WAMENA (B.L.D)
- After breakfast, continue the last trekking to Kurima via Ugem village with nice view down to Mugi river and garden on the mountain rigde.
- Have lunch on the way, arrive in Kurima sub district then by car within 1 hours to Wamena.
- Dinner and overnight at Baliem Pilamo hotel. (Walk approx. 5 hours)
DAY 10: WAMENA – JIWIKA (PIG FEAST) - WAMENA (B.L.D)

- Lunch have at Yougwa restaurant near the lake.
- After lunch, see the Anthropology museum (open from Monday to Saturday at 09.00-14.00), then Hamadi market & Jayapura city.
- Afternoon back to hotel for overnight and dinner.
DAY 12: JAYAPURA – NEXT DESTINATION (B)
