DAY 01: JAYAPURA-ARRIVAL (D)

  • Arrival at Jayapura airport - Meeting service .
  • Have a full day sightseeing tour including Mac Arthur 2nd World War monument, Sentani lake by long boat.
  • Lunch have at Yougwa restaurant near the lake.
  • After lunch, see the Anthropology museum (open from Monday to Saturday at 09.00-14.00), then Hamadi market & Jayapura city.
  • Afternoon back to hotel for overnight and dinner.

DAY 02: JAYAPURA - KURIMA - KILISE (B,L,D)

  • After breakfast then transfer to airport for your 40 minutes flight to Wamena.
  • Arrive at Wamena airport, then drive in 40 minutes to Sogokmo with
    your guide, porters and cook.
  • The starting point of the trekking to Kurima, sub District of the tribe on level terrain then continue climbing the Hesegem hill on the direction of Kilise. Along the trails, you will meet local people in their activities and yet the scenery is very beautiful around.
  • Lunch served en-route.
  • Afternoon you may explore the traditional villages and learn about the local people way of life.
  • Dinner and stay at local guest house of Kilise. (Walk approx. 4 hours).

DAY 03: KILISE – IBIROMA - WAMEREK (B,L,D)

  • After breakfast, proceed to Wamerek village by passing Ibiroma village.
  • Little harder with narrow and slippery paths up down of the hills with about 1.800 meters of elevation.
  • On the way you might also enjoying the nature's beauty, and along the trail you will meet local people with
    friendly smile in their traditional clothes.
  • Lunch will be served at the edge of Tangma river and you can clean your body while the cook preparing the
    food.
  • After lunch we continue to Wamerek within 30 minutes.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at a teacher's house or school. Tents will be settled up (Walk Approx. 5 hours)

DAY 04: WAMEREK - WESAGALEP (BL,D)

  • Breakfast at guest house.
  • Trekking to Wesagalep village for about 6 hours.
  • You are proceeding to cross suspension hanging bridge over Baliem river, to cross this bridge you have to pay more attention because the bridge is already old.
  • Lunch will be served at a small waterfall and you may refresh yourself in the water.
  • The way to Wesagalep village from the river is going up the hill and you again can see the gorgeous scenery from the other side.
  • Dinner and overnight at school of Wesagalep.

DAY 05: WESAGALEP - WUSEREM (B,L,D)

  • Leaving Wesagalep village in the morning after breakfast.
  • Trekking up hill in 30 minutes, and when you arrive at the top of hill, we walk through
    the Dani sweet potatoes gardens.
  • We are going to enter a small rain forest with a sponge of mosses, no one live permanently in this forest.
  • Lunch will have at the river.
  • Proceed to Userem village on the regular path, dinner and stay the night at school. Tents will be settled up. (Walk approx. 6-7 hours)

DAY 06: WUSEREM - KURIMA - SOGOKMO - WAMENA (B,L,D)

  • Having breakfast.
  • Then continue the last trekking day back to Sogokmo with regular path of local people, and cross suspension hanging bridge over Baliem river. We walk at Baliem river bank until Kurima.
  • Picnic lunch have provided, and late afternoon arrive in sogokmo then get the car for drive back to Wamena town.
  • For dinner and overnight stay at hotel of Wamena. (Walk approx. 5 hours)

DAY 07: WAMENA – JIWIKA(Pig feast and Dance) – WAMENA (B,L,D)

  • Breakfast at Hotel.
  • Drive 30 minutes to Jiwika in the North of Baliem valley to see the 250 years old Mummy. Then walk 10 minutes to village of Anemoigi where you can view the Dani Mock battle and Pig feast. You will see how the
    Dani make fire traditionally, kill a pig with bow and arrow and cook them into the hot-burned stone with vegetables and sweet potatoes.
  • Lunch box will be provided en route.
  • After lunch, climb the salt pool where salt pool exist on top of Mili mountain or visit the cave of Wosilimo.
  • Afternoon return to hotel.

DAY 08 : WAMENA - JAYAPURA (B,L,D)

  • After breakfast, transfer to airport for your flight back to Jayapura.
  • Arrival at airport of Jayapura, check in to the hotel and then drive to Depapre in 1.5 hours and then by boat in 10 minutes to Kisy Kisy beach for swim, snorkeling and relax.
  • Lunch will serve with grill fishes at the beach.
  • Late afternoon back to hotel for overnight and dinner.

DAY 09: JAYAPURA - DEPARTURE (B)

  • Breakfast at hotel and proceed to airport for Depart to the next
    destination. End of service
