Start - End : Makassar

Day 01 : MAKASSAR AIRPORT - PARE PARE- TORAJA ( L.D )

• Meeting service upon arrival at the airport.
• We take an eight-hour drive up to Tana Toraja passing through Bugis villages with a few stop on the way including visiting the interior of the Bugis houses which built on stilt.
• Stop at Pare-pare to enjoy lunch at a beautiful sea-food restaurant located up on a hill with sea view. 
• Afternoon, refreshment stop at Bambapuang to see the erotic mountain of Buntu Kabobong and enjoy some local cakes with traditional coffee or tea.
• Late in the afternoon arriving in Toraja land, directly check-in at the hotel for your overnight stay and dinner. (B, L D)

Day 02: Rantepao - White water rafting ( B.L.D )

• Trek alongside the river, passing remote Torajan villages.
• Enter the river above Class IV rapids for a day of world class whitewater rafting.
• Lunch en route.
• Mountains tower 2,000 feet above.
• More than 20 sets of rapids end in a narrow gorge.
• Camp riverside while your Guide prepares the dinner. 

Day 03:  Whitewater rafting ( B.L.D )

• A day packed with Class III and IV whitewater action, sweeping wave trains, swift technical rapids, challenging flush through and a few relaxing floats.
• Back to Rantepao for your overnight stay and dinner.

Day 04: Keppe –  Limbung

• Breakfast at Hotel. Drop by car to the starting point of trekking.
• Trekking deep in the country side through the foot path, crossing suspension bamboo bridge and coffee plantations.
• En route you will find beautiful landscape, old traditional houses, stone graves. Afternoon arrive in Limbung, dinner and overnight at simple villager traditional house (Tongkonan) in which you will experience the life of Toraja people.

Day 05 : Limbung – Madong - Sallu - Rantepao

• Breakfast at Limbung  then trek to Sallu with a very beautiful scenery of rice fields landscape passes few traditional village. You will be picked up at Sallu to continue by car to Rantepao.
• After lunch visits hanging grave at Kete Kesu and stone grave at Lemo.
• Late afternoon, return to Hotel dinner and overnight.

Day 06 : FULLDAY TORAJA TOUR ( B.L.D )

• Breakfast at hotel.
• Explore Tana Toraja , the Land Full of Surprises.
• First to Lemo, a cliff side burial site with effigies up on balconies.
• Sangalla’ to see the baby graves in a big tree at Kambira.
• Visit Suaya, the royal burial site of Puang Sangalla’ where you can see all kinds of graves existing in Tana Toraja from the ancient to the present time.
• After lunch en route, visit the Ke’te’ kesu’ traditional village with rows of traditional Tongkonan houses and granaries and hanging graves.
• Back to the hotel in the afternoon.
• Dinner and stay overnight.

Day 07  : FULLDAY TORAJA TOUR ( B.L.D )

• Breakfast at hotel.
• We have another full day exploring Tana Toraja.
• Visit Sadan village, the Toraja weaving center.
• Visit Pallawa, a spectacular traditional village with rows of Tongkonan houses and traditional granaries.
• Visit Bori, a burial place with megaliths which are the remains of the Torajan ancient stone cultures.
• Lunch en route,
• Visit Nanggala, a traditional village with thousands of bats up on the bamboo trees, and a traditional Tongkonan house with a human skull on top of it.
• Afternoon, return to hotel and stay overnight.

 Note : A traditional funeral ceremony which can be reached by foot will be included within two days Toraja tour. A typical Torajan local fruits & live stuff market can also be visited during your two days tour in Toraja Land.

 

Day 08 : TORAJA - SENGKANG( B.L.D )

• Breakfast at hotel.
• Leaving Toraja Land for  Sengkang with few stops on route for some interesting stuff.
• Lunch on route at local restaurant.
• Arrive in Sengkang, take a boat-trip on "TEMPE" lake to see the way of life of those who still live on their floating houses. Take a refreshment while enjoying the sun-set view from this floating house.
• And with your driver and Guide, visiting the traditional silk-weaving village.
• Late afternoon Check-in the hotel and dinner.

Day 09: SENGKANG - BANTIMURUNG - MAKASSAR ( B.L.D )

• Breakfast at hotel.
• 4 hours drive trip to Makassar with a stop at Bantimurung to enjoy the beautiful waterfall and some rare species of most spectacular colorful butterflies at green mountainous view.
• Lunch will be served en route.
• Afternoon proceed to the main city of Makassar and directly check-in to hotel for your overnight stay and dinner will be served at sea-food restaurant in Makassar.

Day 10: MAKASSAR - AIRPORT ( B )

• After breakfast at hotel.
• A short city tour and then proceed to Airport for your next destination.
