Day 01: BALIKPAPAN – SAMARINDA – KOTA BANGUN Black_orchid

Day 02: KOTA BANGUN – MANCONG – TANJUNG ISUY

After breakfast, we will cross the Jempang Lake where species of water bird flyover the area to catch fish and the Ohong River where proboscis monkey, monitor lizard, and other wildlife as it glides by.
Next, visiting Mancong village to explore the impressive longhouse and Dayak Benuaq life. Afterwards, travel to Tanjung Isuy village for watching traditional Dayak dance in front of their longhouse.
Lunch will be served en route, dinner and overnight on longhouse. B,L,D)

Day 03: TANJUNG ISUY – KOTA BANGUN – SAMARINDA

Proceed to Kota Bangun and directly transfer to Tenggarong for exploring the King Collection on the Museum of Mulawarman and Royal Cemetery of Kutai Kartanegara kingdom.
Afterwards, driving to Samarinda for overnight on hotel. (B,L,D)

Day 04: SAMARINDA – MUARA KOMAM

After breakfast, we will drive to Muara Komam with some stop over on interesting spots we will meet en route.
Lunch and dinner will be served en route and overnight on hotel. (B,L,D)

Day 05: MUARA KOMAM – BARARAWA – LOKSADO

Proceed to visit a beautiful huge cave and then continue our trip to Bararawa swamp village for exploring water buffaloes and villagers’ daily lives.
Next, we will travel to Nagara village for sighting traditional machete making, metal ware, and pottery home industries.
Afterwards, transfer to Loksado for overnight on lodge. (B,L,D)

Day 06: RAINFOREST TREKKING

Proceed to explore jungle and Dayak land crossing shifting cultivation, cinnamon and rubber trees, waterfall, longhouses, hills, hanging and suspended bamboo bridges, rivers, primary and secondary rainforest.
In the afternoon, we will back to the lodge through other trail with different beauties of nature.
Lunch will be served en route, dinner and overnight on lodge. (B,L,D)

Day 07: BAMBOO RAFTING – RIAM KANAN LAKE – APUAI

Exploring villagers set the bamboo raft then take an adventure trip of bamboo rafting crossing beautiful landscape of tropical rainforest along the riverside meanwhile our coach will be waiting on the downstream for transferring to Cempaka village to explore traditional diamond digging and polishing where people take material out of the ground then shake them on the pan of wood for finding raw diamond.
Afterwards, driving to Aranio small port for cruising up ward the Riam kanan Lake to Apuai for overnight on local house. (B,L,D)

Day 08: APUAI – RIAM KANAN LAKE – BANJARMASIN

Cruising the Riam Kanan Lake to explore beautiful view of forests, mountainous swamp, birds, boat making, floating fishing ponds, etc.
Next, proceed to Banjarmasin for taking an afternoon canal sightseeing.
Afterwards, transfer to hotel for overnight. (B,L,D)

Day 09: FLOATING MARKET – SAMPIT

Early in the morning, we will leave to floating market for exploring the unique culture of Banjarese that trade commodities from boat to boat, then return to hotel crossing Banjarmasin river while sightseeing people activities on riverside.
Next, we will drive to Sampit with some stop over on interesting spots we will meet en route.
Lunch and dinner will be served en route and overnight on hotel. (B,L,D)

Day 10: SAMPIT – PANGKALAN BUN – TANJUNG PUTING NATIONAL PARK

Transfer to Kumai sub-district to start boating safari on Sekonyer River while sightseeing remarkable view of the river where some animals showing up to welcome visitors on their kingdom.
The houseboat is a traditional wooden river boat about 6m by 2m with a roof which forms the upper deck where you can view the rainforest as it glides by.
Overnight and dining on the boat, with facilities; thin mattress, pillow, fine meals, bottled "mineral" water, mosquito net, kitchen, simple toilet available on boat besides the familiar - helpful guides and boatmen.(B, L, D)

The boat trip Day 11: TANJUNG PUTING NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, we will cruise up the river for about 2 hours to reach Camp Leakey where the older orangutans are reintroduced into the rainforest.
A stop will be made at Pondok Tanguy, the rehabilitation center for the new ex-captive orangutans.
At Camp Leakey you will have opportunity to trek into the rainforest with your expert guide and the forest rangers to appreciate the flora as well as perhaps sighting wild orangutans, gibbons, macaques, and birds.
Lunch will be provided on boat. Afternoon, we will visit the feeding station to see rehabilitate orangutans are given additional foods.
We will then sail back down the river to overnight on the boat. (B, L, D)

Day12: TANJUNG PUTING NATIONAL PARK –DEPARTURE

Free at your own leisure till the proper time for transfering to airport for your next destination. (B).
