Borneo or Kalimantan is known as one of the largest tropical rainforest on the earth. The land offers plenty of amazing places to explore. Cruising the Sekonyer river to Tanjung Puting National Park will give you the opportunity to see wild forest with kinds of fascinating fauna, such as; orangutans, monitor lizards, crocodiles, proboscis monkey, wild pig, birds, etc. Where as the Kahung Valley is part of Meratus Mountain on south Kalimantan, it is very good for anyone who loves traveling, started by cruising Riam Kanan lake with mountainous panorama and birds sightseeing to reach Belangian village for hiking the grass hills to cross villagers farms. Afterwards, you will encounter the tropical rainforest with plenty of gigantic trees and romantic streams while some wild birds and primates showing up occasionally, you will engage the wonderful nature of the Borneo, with amazing beauties of the great atmosphere on its forest.

Day 01: ARRIVAL IN PANGKALAN BUN – TANJUNG PUTING NATIONAL PARK

• Meet at airport and directly transfer to Kumai district for boarding the houseboat to Tanjung Puting National Park.
• The houseboat is a traditional Klotok, wooden river boat about 6m by 2m with a roof forms the upper deck where you can view the rainforest as it glides by. The boat crew including the boatman, cook and expert guide.
• In the peaceful afternoon, we will slowly explore the quite river by the klotok while observing the primates along the riverside.
• Overnight and dining on houseboat, with facilities; thin mattress, pillow, fine meals, bottled "mineral" water, mosquito net, kitchen, and simple toilet available on boat besides the familiar helpful guides and boatmen. (L,D)

Day 02: TANJUNG PUTING NATIONAL PARK

• After breakfast, we will board the klotok for boating upward to Pondok Tanguy for exploring the rehabilitation center of the new ex-captive orangutans.
• Next, return to houseboat for cruising upward the creek to Camp Leakey where the older orangutans are reintroduced into the rain forest.
• At this station, you will have opportunity to trek into the rainforest with your expert guide and forest rangers to appreciate the flora as well as viewing wild orangutans, gibbons, macaques, and birds. Lunch will be served on houseboat.
• In the afternoon, we will visit the feeding station to see rehabilitated orangutans are given additional foods.
• We will then sail back down the river and overnight on houseboat. (B,L,D)

Day 03: TANJUNG PUTING NATIONAL PARK – PANGKALAN BUN – BANJARMASIN

• Sightseeing in Tanjung Harapan then transfer to Kumai and Pangkalan Bun for flight to Banjarmasin, overnight on hotel. (B,L,D)

Day 04: FLOATING MARKET – TRADITIONAL DIAMOND DIGGING – BELANGIAN

• Early in the morning, we will leave to floating market for exploring the unique culture of Banjarese that trade commodities from boat to boat, then return to hotel crossing Banjarmasin river while sightseeing people activities on riverside.
• Next, proceed to Cempaka village to explore traditional diamond digging and polishing where people take material out of the ground then shake them on the pan of wood for finding raw diamond.
• Afterwards, transfer to Riam Kanan harbour by car and continue our trip to Belangian village by boat crossing the beautiful scenery of the lake with many species of birds inhabit the area.
• Lunch will be served en route, dinner and overnight on bivouac /tent at riverside. (B,L,D)

Day 05: RAINFOREST TREKKING

• After breakfast, we will trek to Riam Cemara crossing primary forest with plenty of gigantic trees, primates and birds.
• Next, continue trekking to Kahung valley waterfall.
• Lunch will be served en route, dinner and overnight on bivouac /tent at riverside. (B,L,D)

Day 06: RAINFOREST TREKKING

• After breakfast, return to Belangian village then transfer to Banjarmasin for overnight on hotel.  (B,L,D)

Day 07: DEPARTURE

• Free at your own leisure till the proper time for transfering to airport for your next destination. (B)
