Meratus Mountain lies from southern to the northern of South Borneo with the highest peak is on Mount Besar, 
the area is covered by lush tropical rainforest, rivers, mossy stones, and tremendous waterfall. The range is inhabited by the Bukit Dayak ethnic, most of them are still maintaining the ancestor belief and tradition, such as; nomadic farming, animals hunting, and ritual ceremonies as part of their lives. They are living on longhouses as the center of ritual ceremonies and community. The longhouse here is rather different with other longhouse in all places of Borneo; it is a rectangle building where sleeping rooms all over the building surrounding the communal veranda in the middle.
Day 01: ARRIVAL IN BANJARMASIN
- Meeting service at the airport.
- Directly transfer to hotel for check in.
- Exploring Banjarese river civilization by taking an afternoon canal sightseeing.
- Return to hotel for overnight. Free at own leisure. (D)
Day 02: BANJARMASIN โ MERATUS MOUNTAIN
- Early in the morning, leaving to floating market for exploring the unique culture of Banjarese that trade commodities from boat to boat.
- Return to hotel crossing Banjarmasin River while sightseeing people activities on riverside.
- Transfer to Kiyo village for short sightseeing.
- Trekking to Meratus Mountain crossing hills, forest, shifting cultivation, etc.
- Lunch will be served en route, dinner and overnight on bivouac/tent. (B,L,D)
Day 03: DATAR ALAI โ JUMANTIR
- Breakfast.
- Today is trekking to Sungai Karuh waterfall while exploring vegetation and animals on our trail.
- Hiking to Jumantir crossing dense primary forest.
- In the evening, we will learn from the Dayak man how to set the animal trap.
- Lunch will be served en route
- Dinner and overnight on bivouac/tent at riverside. (B,L,D)
Day 04: JUMANTIR โ MOUNT BESAR PEAK
- Breakfast.
- Trekking uphill through mossy trees and orchids to reach the peak of mount Besar, the roof of South Borneo where we can see beautiful panorama of Borneo dense jungle from above.
- Lunch will be served en route.
- Dinner and overnight on bivouac/tent at the peak. (B,L,D)
Day 05: MOUNT BESAR โ KATUAN
- Breakfast and packing up our stuff.
- Trek down the peak to Katuan for setting our campsite.
- Lunch will be served en route.
- Dinner and overnight on bivouac/tent at riverside. (B,L,D)
Day 06: KATUAN โ HARATAI
- Proceed to Haratai Waterfall crossing primary rainforest, beautiful valley, hills, and shifting cultivation.
- Lunch will be served en route.
- Dinner and overnight on bivouac/tent at riverside. (B,L,D)
Day 07: HARATAI โ BAMBOO RAFTING โ BANJARMASIN
- Trekking downhill to Loksado for about 2 hours and directly get an adventure trip of bamboo rafting crossing beautiful landscape of tropical rainforest along the riverside meanwhile our coach will be waiting on the downstream for driving to Banjarmasin, a stop will be made at Cempaka village to explore traditional diamond digging and polishing where people take material out of the ground then shake them on the pan of wood for finding raw diamond.

Day 08: DEPARTURE
- Early in the morning, we will leave to floating market for exploring the unique culture of Banjarese who trade their commodities from boat to boat, then return to hotel crossing Banjarmasin River while sightseeing people activities on riverside.
- Free at own leisure till the proper time for transferring to airport for your next destination. (B)
